_{This is my entry to this months Manga and Anime Super-Mini-Repeating Contest, and the theme was music.

This is supposed to be some sort of representation of how I feel when I play music. I feel vibrant, alive and I feel the music flowing through me; this here is represented by the music staves / notes literally flowing from her hair, and the spectrum of colours within and surrounding her.

Onto the more technical side of things; I had a lot of fun painting this one, and I'm especially proud of her lips and nose, which I find are hard things to shade right The music notes and staves were fun to wind into her hair, and the hair... well.. the hair was challenging! It was hard trying to get it to look somewhat realistic in its flow, without just clumping together in long strands: I think I managed it somewhat =3
